The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility offers workshops that develop participants’ ability to address the issues and challenges facing our communities, our country, and the world.

С²ÝÉçÇø students, staff and faculty members can request the following capacity-building workshops for their student organizations, departments or classes. Workshop Offerings
Foundations of Civic Engagement: This workshop develops participants’ civic agency and introduces them to pathways for civic action.
Foundations of Community Engagement: This workshop introduces participants to important concepts and approaches to pursue meaningful community-focused collaborations.
Voter Education: This workshop provides participants with important information about navigating the political process, becoming an educated voter and engaging in advocacy.
Civic and Community Engagement: This workshop highlights the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate civic and community engagement practices into everyday life.
