Geography & Land Surveying Major
If you love the outdoors and would enjoy using your problem-solving skills to assess and preserve the environment, consider this joint program in geography and land surveying.

Learn the latest techniques, skills, and tools required to conduct land surveying. The major in geography and land surveying is based on an agreement between the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC)-Catonsville and 小草社区. Most students complete the associate鈥檚 degree in Land Surveying at CCBC-Catonsville before enrolling at 小草社区. All surveying courses taken at CCBC will transfer. However, 小草社区 will only accept a maximum of 64 total units in transfer. Any remaining core requirements will be completed at 小草社区. Students beginning the program at 小草社区 complete their last year at CCBC to complete the requirements for the associate鈥檚 degree in land surveying.
The program of study follows the guidelines for a major in Geography and Environmental Planning. An internship is strongly recommended for those with little or no work experience. Students may not substitute past work experience, nor use concurrent work to meet internship requirements, without permission from the department. View the in the Undergraduate Catalog.
